International and many local chapters are going to run a spectacular series
of events
at the Origins Convention this year,
from Wednesday June 29 to July 03, 2005, in Columbus Ohio. The show includes a
1024 person sword fighting tournament, the regular medieval live adventures that
NERO runs so well, and a live adventure tavern where attendees can experience
the cultures of Avalon (from the attending dozen chapters) and engage in
conversation and games if chance while relaxing in a pleasant atmosphere. For
NERO Members, not only are we running live adventures full of pomp, dangerous
liaisons, adversaries, gold, platinum, and magic items, but we are also holding
the first ever NERO Award and Recognition ceremony, in which NERO will recognize
the many aspects and individuals of NERO both within National and at the local
chapters. The benefits to NERO members include half price 4-day event passes to
the convention, and possibly discounted hotel room costs.

Issued an Official Statement upon request to confirm the cost of a Goblin
blanket. The text below is from the NERO Goblin Stamp Redemption policy©.
If you use the Goblin Stamp Reward System;
A “Blanket” of experience may be earned by redeeming 50 Goblin Stamps. Called
the Goblin Blanket or Plug-In Blanket, the maximum number of blankets earned in
this manner is equal to 1 blanket per weekend, per character. This maximum is
applied to the character, regardless of how many different chapters the player
has earned Goblin Stamps at. This blanket is above and beyond any blankets
earned for events actually attended.
