What do you recommended to learn the most about Live Adventures while At
Origins.
Answer: NERO Encourages each
person to experience the thrill of Live Adventures by participating in the Grand
Boffer Tournament for charity, 1 general Sword Tournament or Champion Challenge
Duel, two 2-hour Live Adventure, and all 3 days enjoying themselves in the Live
Adventure Tavern - For a
weekend package cost of $33.00, you will fully experience a NERO Event.
Certainly a day in the Live Tavern and one Adventure and one lesson in Sword
Fighting will provide sufficient knowledge on live adventures.
Question:
If I do not want to use Boffer Swords and Sorcery Orbs, do I have too?
Answer: Absolutely not. There is no requirement in the NERO Game System©
that you must use Boffer Swords and Spell Orbs, or that you must be part of the
mock combat scenarios that play out. The system allows players to remain in the
'safe zone' of the game and interact with other players in relative safety. The
more interactive players can even enter into the 'Adventure Zone' wearing a
orange headband (which we will supply to you) that identifies you to everyone
else that you are not 'combat active' and are not to be confronted for mock
combat or struck with any combat oriented equipment. .

Answer: If you are a NERO Member and want to sign up for Origins, You
Can;
A.)
Print This Sheet Out (coming
soon - being reviewed by GAMA) and Bring it with you when buying your badge at
Origins. Use this and your
NERO Membership Card to get a 4-Day Badge for $30.00.
B.) In 2005 we have been told that
GAMA cannot make alterations to their merchant system to include the reduced
4-day badge price, but they have assured us that they will have it for our 2006
shows. See Here…

NERO events listed for purchase. You can sign up at the Convention OR use
General Use Tickets.

Answer: GAMA has assured me that all NERO Members who pay full price will
be given 50% refund at the convention. See the Bottom of the NERO description at
the Origins Site.
