National Event Pre-Registration

If you are attending a National Event, you should pre-register so that we can prepare for your arrival.

There are many benefits to pre-registering and pre-paying.

Staff puts in a tremendous amount of work to organize and prepare for the event.

We also encourage everyone to submit payment prior to the event by giving a discount on the event price. We prefer that attendees pay via paypal though we gladly accept a check or money order at the NERO GA LARP Park address to the left under the navigation bar.

We would like to concentrate on producing adventures for attendees and we can do this best if 80% of you have pre-registered and we can get everyone through check-in and logistics quickly. We will also have a limited staff after 9 PM for late check-in since game starts at 9:00 PM.

When you register and prepay for the National Event;

n       You get a discount for paying early;

n       You get whisked through the check-in line.

n       We make an envelope with your character card, production items, and 2 rumors you have heard.

n       We add you to the Event Excel Spreadsheet. We track your name, the pre-registration date, the Pre-Paid Amount, Your Cabin Assignment, Character Name, Home Chapter, Your Character Focus for the event, and ‘Plot Involved In’.

n       We take your ‘character focus for the event’ from the pre-registration form and turn that into an encounter at the event, either tying it into the main theme or keeping it separate. If you are looking for fairies, we will include a fairy circle and some fairy plotlines. If you say you heard there was a group of mystic wood elves in a village somewhere near the gathering and you and your group want to hunt the village and kill every mystic wood inside, we will run ‘assault on the mystic wood elf village’ and let you do it. We will, later report on it in the paper but we won’t say your names. ‘an unknown group of assailants devastated a local mystic wood elf village killing more than 182 men, of which 181 resurrected successfully. Nerden Thistlefork, age 249, did not resurrect. The women and children escaped harm by hiding behind closed doors and wards.

n       We contact your local chapter to get some background information when necessary. If you tell us your character focus for the event is to find some magical items that can be used against the Gancis, we contact your local plot team to find out what Gancis is about and ask them for some advice on giving proper treasure that will help you against your adversary. If you are searching for allies or items to help you fight the great Orc army in Badirra, we find out what award is appropriate from your local plot committee and we run a plotline that targets you with the appropriate RP hook or magic item.

When you register and do not prepay for the National Event, we do everything the same for you, but since we are taking a chance with your arrival and we are handling money on site;

• You do not get a discount for the event
• You will have to wait for your production items at check-in
• You will wait on a line with others to pay
